Capezio's "Jr. Tyette" tap shoe features a firm heel counter and light toe box for support and a snug fit while maintaining comfort. The black patent features a PVC upper while the other colors feature a matte PU upper. Other features include TeleTone toe and heel taps, foam padded footbed, grosgrain ribbon, and an adorable star sock lining print. The elastic is sewn between the eyelets.

My 8 yr old daughter wore these same exact shoes last year in a size 3.0M and I bought the 4.5 in Adults this year and they are almost an inch shorter than the 3.0 in children. I am definitely confused and she already wore them to 1 class.

KIDS SIZING CONVERSION NEEDS TO BE CLEAR
I am returning these shoes and ordering a second pair. The sizing conversion from kids to adults is very lacking. Need better assistance. I am hopeful the 2nd pair will be better fit. I have spent more on this order than if I had purchased at a local dance store and the shoes would have been the right fit to start.
Disappointed and waiting to be pleased with the shoe.

SO HAPPY!
I was sooooo happy to find these! I am an adult size 7 and I'm 13. I assistant teach with the three year olds at my studio. Their class is a tap and ballet combination class. I had ballet shoes, of course, but I needed white tap shoes. These are the only good white adult tap shoes I could find. I love them!

If she is an 4.5 in child shoes, you would need to convert her into the adult size by adding 2 sizes to her street. This would make her a 6.5 in the adult shoe. - DDS Customer Service (09/12/2013)
